Croatia is perhaps the most popular holiday destination in the Balkans. Bordering Slovenia and Hungary to the north, Bosnia and Montenegro to the south, and Serbia to the east. Its popularity is probably due to the versatility of Hrvatska. There is something for everyone here. You will find culture, nature (8 nature parks!), plenty of entertainment and of course its biggest attractions: the Plitvice lakes and Adriatic Sea. Although Istria and Dalmatia are by far the most visited regions, don’t sleep on its capital city – Zagreb.
